School Awning Installation in Worcestershire
Founded in 2019, Orchard Primary School is a thriving primary school within the heart of Worcestershire. Our client wanted to create an outdoor environment that enables young pupils to stay safe in the sun, while also providing protection from UV rays during peak hours. The shading solution for the building has to be versatile and durable to suit the needs of the school play area.
Process:
After the team completed a survey, we recommended Lewens Toscana Full Cassette Awning for the client, as it would perfectly fit the brief assigned. Shortly after that, our team started designing, ordering and installing the bespoke shading solution to the school. We installed a 5m x 3m electric awning positioned over the playground area to provide durable weather protection.
The Lewens Toscana Awning is the ultimate solution for large patios. The maximum width can be 7m width (for one single unit) and 4m projection. The Lewens awning is made of corrosion resistant aluminium, are fully retractable and manually operated. It allows the awning stop at any position up to its full projection, giving the client flexibility on how much shade to provide. The awning fabric used is durable, strong and low maintenance, ensuring years of quality shading for the school.
Following the initial consultation, the bespoke awnings for the client were delivered and installed in a timely manner. The installation was completed in two hours during half term holiday, which caused zero disruption to staff and pupils.
The new awning is ideal for Orchard primary school; they are easy to use and maintain whilst keeping within health and safety standards. The client is thrilled with the results, enabling the school to promote outdoor play even during the hottest summer days.
