Bespoke Branded Retractable Awnings for Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
Clwb Ifor Bach has been a popular live music venue in Cardiff for more than four decades. This independent club, which is well known for promoting emerging Welsh talents and hosting unforgettable live events, continues to grow while keeping its strong cultural identity. The club manager asked our team to come up with a practical and eye-catching solution to cover their smoking area and improve customers’ outdoor environment. The goal was to create a comfortable, sheltered place that would complement the club’s atmosphere.
PROCESS
The client needed a weatherproof, long-lasting awning system that would protect patrons while improving the venue's external appearance. For Clwb Ifor Bach, we created and installed a set of three retractable awnings.
The awnings featured 3 awnings of identical size (6m width x 3m projection each) and their fabric and framework are cohesive across all units. We also integrated automated wind sensor for strong winds and included 6 Evergreen infrared heaters.
Our awnings also feature LED arm lighting to create a striking look day and night while offering practical cover for guests. To enhance the visual impact, our team customed printed fabric on both the awnings and valances which creates an eye-catching branded exterior.
