Erhardt Markisen are a large German manufacturer, with almost 40 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and marketing awnings, vernadas and glassrooms. Starting in 1980 as a one man operation, they have evolved to now be an international giant within the industry. Operating out of their manufacturing base in Burtenbach, a small town in the famous Southern German region of Bavaria, Erhardt Markisen are known for their high quality and ambition. All framework is made from high quality aluminium, whilst their fabrics are all tested to the highest standard, both in the weaving plant and the sowing room.
The Erhardt T100 & T150 are sister systems. They are both terrace roof systems that help you to truly transform your outside area, and forms a transition between the outside and the inside. Not only this, but they are without doubt the best way to ensure all-year round protection, with verandas and glassrooms able to provide protection during sun, wind, rain and snow.

These systems are growing in popularity due to their flexibility, with glass panels and doors able to be added at any time. The systems can be used commercially in all sorts of settings, with restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, schools and more all joining homes in utilising these systems.
The huge widths and large projections mean that these systems are especially suited to the leisure and hospitality industry. With the sides able to be filled in with glass, the Erhardt T100 and T150 are perfect to enable bars, restaurants, cafes and more to seat people in their outside space without having to worry about the wind or cold during the Autumn or Winter months.
The frames for both the Erhardt T100 & T150 are made from aluminium, resulting in a very sturdy and reliable framework. The glass panels and doors can slide to the side in order to open up, and there are very few supporting posts, ensuring a fantastic and unobstructed view. This is achieved via the use of cross-section supporting elements, allowing up to 7m between supporting posts. Because of this, the external appearance appears delicate and minimalist, yet despite this it remains strong and durable. The framework comes in three different standard colours, white, grey and anthracite, but any RAL colour is available as an optional extra for a small additional cost.
The glass panels run on a high wuality ball-bearing system that provides smooth movement on the 2-5 track wide rails. The glass panels themselves come in two sizes, either 150 x 200cm or 90 x 260cm.
A number of extras can be chosen for the Erhardt T100 & T150 that help to either extend the usability of the system, or help protect against different weather conditions.
Under or over glass awnings can also be added to these systems, in order to provide shading as well as shelter, and this helps turn this into the ultimate solution for the modern British climate where we have burning Summers and rainy Autumns. Vertical blinds or awnings can also be used to provide shading from almost any type of sun, and are operated via a zip system.
Also available is LED lighting and infrared heating, which can enable your guests or customers to enjoy the outside space longer into the evening and further throughout the year. LED lighting is available as either a lighting rail or integrated lighting in the spars, both of which are available as dimmable lighting.
